Alex was born and raised in Cranston, Rhode Island. He is a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School and attended Rhode Island college where he played baseball for both The Hawks and The Anchormen. Alex’s professional life began working in the family’s multi-generational jewelry business. It was here that he cultivated a strong work ethic and a passion for craftsmanship. When the jewelry industry shifted, Alex embraced working in the construction industry. After gaining valuable experience with various companies, he launched his own venture, Verrecchia Construction Management in 2017. Alex has completed over 15 successful fix-and-flip renovations and hundreds of kitchen and bathroom remodels. This experience has equipped him with a unique perspective on construction processes, costs, and risk allowing Canning Capital to service their borrowers timely and efficiently.
