Mark has over four decades of experience in the areas of real estate, property development and municipal law.  He graduated from Boston College Magna Cum Laude in 1974 and from Suffolk University Law School in 1977.  Mark founded his law firm in 1978, establishing a long-standing reputation in Rhode Island for comprehensive legal services in complex property matters. Mr. Liberati’s experience includes construction disputes, arbitration of contract issues, litigation of mechanic liens and representing sponsors and developers of affordable housing.  He has conducted hundreds of residential closings as a closing officer and title attorney. Mark has advised Canning Capital on all stages of the lending cycle including structuring new loans.  Mark’s role as General Counsel has been crucial for protecting Canning Capital’s interests as well as closing loans quickly. Mr. Liberati also proudly serves the community as the Probate Judge for the Town of Jamestown.
